April started...

It's already April, and I am really really surprised about time goes fast every year.
(もう既に４月になりました。そして、いつも時が早く過ぎ去っている事に驚きを感じます。)

I wish I were something I can do important for my life soon! (何か自分の人生において重要な事をやり遂げられないかと思う日々があります。)

Well, now I am studying in some stuff at Graduate School, and I am tutoring everyday, but still something I am missing....(今は大学院で勉強をしていて、家庭教師もしています。しかし、何かが足りないような気がするのです。)

I shouldn't think about that, because if I think that, I am going to spend a lot more time than what I need to do.... lol
(今それを考えない様にしないといけないんです。なぜかって？！もしそれを考え出したらきりがなく、自分がやらなくてはならない事以上に時間を費やしてしまいそうだからです。)

By the way, I was away from Greenville yesterday, and went to several different places...
(ところで、昨日はグリーンビルから少し離れていろいろな所に行ってきました。)

New Item!

I got new item yesterday. I found that on website, and it is not sale anymore. I was surprised that came to here after 2 days of my order. That is "Fire King Alice Vitrock/Blue Trim Cup and Saucer".

That design is so nice and I really like it. Also, it looks like not glassware, but it is glassware cup and saucer. I am really really surprised that feel like not glassware, but it is. Design is so nice and cute for people who like to have it. (このデザインはすごくいいもので、自分はものすごく好きになりました。それから陶磁器の様に見えますが、実はガラス細工のものなんです。手触りもガラス細工とは思えないのですがちゃんと見ればガラスなんです。この肌触りの見た目と可愛さなどが人気の一つなのかもしれないですね。)

Thursday is good day of the week....

Today is actually better weather, and I like this way. (今日は天候もより、いい日になりました。）

I wasn't sure what to write before I started, but now I have a topic to talk. (私は何を書こうかと書く前までは悩んでいましたが、書き始めたら１つの話題について書こうと思いました。)

That topic is tomorrow's middle school students presentation. We will have presentation about middle school student reading books. I read most of them, and I am really enjoy hearing about the books from them. Also this is good opportunity for them to explain what their thoughts, and what the books are.
(その話題とは明日の事です。中学生が彼らの読んでいる本の内容についてのプレゼンテーションを行う事です。自分も一緒になってほとんどの本を読み、彼らの意見や考えについて毎日の様にきいていました。このプレゼンテーションによって彼らがより充実したものを得られるのではないかと思っています。)

Today was last day for making presentation and website for themselves, and I was helping them for technical parts. It was really great working with them, and I learned that how they need to teach or support from us like teachers and assistants.
(今日はプレゼンテーションの前日で最後の編集をできる日でした。私はテクニカルサポートをしに彼らの教室に行って仕事をしてきました。彼らと一緒にやるこのプロジェクトはとにかく充実したものとなりました。私は彼らからどのようにして教えたらいいのかという事を学びました。)

Today and yesterday...

Today and yesterday, I went to one of middle school not in Greenville, but next town call Chocowinity.

I really like to go there and doing some work with Middle School students. I made website for their presentation. I will put here sometime later that website.

Oh now I should talk about my new stuff. I bought iPad 2 on March 11th, 2011. It was so much fun to get that. I had iPad, and I really like iPad but I like the new iPad 2 as well. Also it is much better to use so far. I think it is easy to use anyway.

I am trying to show some place around Greenville tomorrow post, but not sure where should I post yet. But this week or next week, I will put some pictures of university where I go school. I think this will make people to know what looks like and how that school works for international students. Also, American students and professors are very nice to us. I am sure people will like here.

Hana is my dog since 2006. I am so happy to have her as my pet and seems like she is one of my favorite pet ever I had. She always sleep with me, and she tried to wake me up several time when I don't wake up around 7am.... lol

Well hope she will have a happy life with me! I am so happy spent time with her. :)

Today, I had little bit time, so I went to Antique Stores. I usually not have enough time to go somewhere from Greenville during week days. (今日は少し時間があったので、アンティークのお店にいってきました。月曜日から金曜日まではいつも忙しいので行く事がないのですが。。。）


There was little bit of stuff I can see since time was limited, but I saw some stuff. Also, I bought some of Fire-King dishes. (そこのお店にはそこまでいろいろなものはないのですが(時間もなかったのですが)、少しだけ見つける事ができました。そして何個かのファイヤーキングを買う事ができました。）

Weather is getting colder again....

Weather is coming back or going back to colder again in Greenville, NC... 

I wasn't expected this colder weather again after all week was hot and warm around here... 

here is on picture I took.

you can see this picture about cloudy and it is really not much to get warmer today. 

I wish weekend is warmer so I can take a walk with my dogs around my apartment. However, sometime weekend is like this.

Well hopefully, next week and weekend is not that bad. I saw the weather channel, and they predict we have rain and storm next few days. Also temperature is lower than last week.

I guess this is Spring around here. :-0

今日は少し。。。

今日は少し肌寒い日になっているグリーンビルです。

久しぶりに天候が悪く小雨が降ったりしていました。

家の外を取った様子ですが少し見た目もどんよりとした写真になっています。
こんな事もたまにはあると思うのですが。。。

でも、久しぶりにゆっくりとした一日を過ごしています。週末とはいえ忙しいときは忙しいのが学生です。特に大学院になればメールのチェックやミーティン後などもありますし、会社に勤めているかたは仕事をしなければならない方もいるのではと思います。

ほんの気ままなBlogに付き合っていただて（読んでいるかた）ありがとうございます！

来週はグリーンビルでいくつかイベントがあると思うのでそれをのせる事にします。

２０１１年３月２４日

すでに今日で４日目なんですが。。。今日は特に何も書く事がないので。。。どうしようかと思いましたが一応書いてみました。

何も書く事がない日もあっていいと思うのですが。。。というのも写真を撮っていないというのもあり寂しいブログになるのではという事で書くかどうか迷って書く事にしました。

そういえばあと２日でお気に入りのドラマが終わってしまいます。といっても日本のドラマなんですが。。。

そのドラマは連続テレビ小説の「てっぱん」です。

日本では４月２日までの放送と決まっているみたいですが。。。インターネットでは１４９話まで放送されているのであと２話で終わりなんです。

いつも見ているというわけではないのですが今回は「ちゅらさん」以来久しぶりに見ています。

グリーンビルでも日本のテレビは見る事ができます。自分はインターネットを通して見ていますが、他の方はテレビを通して見ている方が多いと思います。

桜の季節はもう終わり！？

今日は少しゆっくりできる時間があったのでグリーンビルにある公園に行ってきました。そこで桜を見たのですが既に花が半分くらい散っていました。大学のキャンパス内はすでにほとんどが散っているのでビックリしました。

これを見ればわかると思いますが、桜は既に散り始めて緑の葉っぱが見えています。もう少しくらい長い間桜を見ていられればいいなと思ったくらいです。

ところで、グリーンビルの公園の紹介をしようと思います。

ここではボートなどをもっている人が川岸にいってボートでクルージングを楽しみ事ができます。

この写真からわかる様に結構広い敷地が公園として町の人が楽しめる様になっています。駐車場もありますから、誰でもここに来て自分なりの時間を過ごす事ができます。写真の奥に見える建物があると思いますがこれについては後ほど。。。

これは公園から見えるグリーンビルのダウンタウンです。少ししか見えませんが公園から道路を一本挟んで向かい側が中心部になっています。

旗の写真ですがこれは戦争で亡くなった方や今までの歴史の上でなくなった方に敬服の意を示すものだという事です。自分も今日行って初めて知ったくらいです。アメリカの国旗、州の州旗など６つもの旗がありました。

この２枚の写真は時間をいつでも見る事ができる様にと作られたものをおさめたものです。もし時計や携帯など時刻を表示するものをもっていなくてもここに行って時間を確認する事ができます。これは自分の陰を使った陰時計です。もし公園に行く機会があれば試しにやってみると面白いかもしれません。

この写真は２枚目の写真で述べた奥の建物です。この建物はステージになっていてイベントなどがある時に使われたりします。特にインターナショナル祭りなどの際はいろいろな国の方がここでダンスやその国の文化の紹介などをやっています。４月の中旬くらいなのでもし機会があれば見に行ってみてください！

Sakura ending...

I just looked SAKURA Tree today, I saw it is almost end of period. I took picture of one tree where it is located at Greenville Park.

I am sure you can look at this, and tell that sakura flower is gone for some of part of tree... :( that makes me sad feeling and I wish that Sakura is longer than one.

But that makes here will have summer sooner anyway. Also, this makes me to think about that Japan has some Sakura festival.

However, just sad to see sakura is getting gone for beautiful view to ugly tree with leaves... 

Well, it is just life and just can not avoid any at all. :-(

However, I had chance to look around in Greenville, NC today. I really like that, and nice day as well.

That above picture is what I took at park and I like to go there sometime. Because it is good place to walk with my dogs. However, I didn't walk with dogs because I can not go to school with them anyway. 

OH! but it was nice fine beautiful day I saw in Greenville life. My stress was going away from me when I saw like this picture for my view. 

I am sure people like to go there and walk around park and rest there, doing some sports, and riding ships or so on. If I have something to do, I would stay in there for a while, and spend my day alone. But I like to during my dogs with me and I felt I need them. ahaha :D

Well hope Greenville will have another day of like this.

GREENVILLE SPRING>>>>???? WHERE IT GOES!???

Well, I just want to write down here is only one thing. That is "Where Greenville Spring Goes?"

I felt like, just started Spring here in Greenville, NC but seems like it's already summer came... Hummm

Well, it is nice to have summer temperature already, but it is not really ready yet in here. I want to enjoy Spring! You know what I mean that.

By the way, this is nice to continues something what I haven't been doing it.
 This post is third one this week, and start from three days. I usually forgot to write about Blog because I had different one before. But this time, I am going to continue to do it anyway. It is just my daily stuff comes up... sorry!

I usually not thinking what to write in here until I start writing. Also, I want to write down something for Japanese people who want to know about Greenville, NC. But Still i like to my friends who is here in Greenville and who are American people to read.

I think this will make myself develop and learning how to make story what I want to write. Also how to make this Blog fun. :)

I am not sure what to write tonight, but I think above picture is nice. I found in my folder, and I remember that what I really like to see this.

I am sure people can tell that this is cotton and not snow or anything. lol

I think this picture is my mind right now, and will be like this for little bit of time. I am trying to back myself up to things go through, but still I am not really going on yet. I love to drive around and I really enjoy doing that! :)

グリーンビルの春。。。どこいった？

今日で３日間続けての投稿になります。

さてさて、本日の本題通り「グリーンビルの春はどこにいった？」です。

今朝は何となく暖かい？感じでしたが昼間になってなんと！３０度近くまで気温が上がりさすがにもう夏が来たのではないかといった感じです。つい最近、ようやく春の顔が目覚め始めたかと思ったら。。。今週に入りまだ３月だというのに気温が３０度近くまで・・・

明日も同じくらいまで最高気温は上がる予報になっています。冬から突然夏に変わった感じです。

しかし、ここグリーンビルは気温が上がっても快適に過ごせる場所でもあります。

なぜ？って聞かれる方もいると思うので少し自分の意見をいってみようと思います。

夏はさすがに日本の気温とあまり変わらないのですが、湿気が日本の様にないという点で住みやすい環境が作られていると思います。それに、アメリカで冷房がない所はほとんどないので、もし家で暑さを凌ごうと思えばできない事もないです。

一番おすすめの場所は図書館です。一日中いてもいいですし、ネットも使いたいときは使えます。

あとは近くにある公園でのんびり過ごすのも一日の楽しみにできなくもないです。

ここは雨が少ないので、カラッとした暑さで快適さはGOOD!と自分は思っています。

まぁ、十人十色で他の方はそうでない！とおっしゃるかもしれないのですが。。。

話は変わりますが、食事ができる所を少し紹介しようかと思います。

Greenville Restaurants list (Japanese Restaurant:日本食が食べれる所です）

• Japan Inn: ここは日本食を安くおいしく食べれる所です。何といっても"all you can eat"という食べ放題をやっています。これは他の所でもやっていますが、自分の意見ではここが一番おいしいと思います。昼間は$10.95で夜間（４時以降）は$16.95だったと思います。
• Tokyo Japan: このお店は一品一品を頼まなければなりませんが長い間店をやっていることや多くの日本人の駐在さんやその家族がいっているので日本人ウケは大丈夫な所です。食事の値段は$6.55〜$50+といった所です。
• Fuji Japan: ここは寿司バーと食事をする所の２つがあります。寿司バーの方は持ち帰りの注文やその場で食べれるような食事ができます。他にもいろいろとありますが、随分行っていないので変わっているかもしれません。
• Sappari: ここは鉄板焼きのお店です。ちょっと値段は張りますが、パフォーマンスを見ながら食事ができるというちょっとした楽しい場所です。シェフが自分の目の前の鉄板で注文を料理してくれます。いろいろなメニューがあるので、もし機会があれば試してみてはどうでしょうか？
• Hibachi: このお店は広くはない（こぢんまりな感じ）のですが、料理は早く作ってくれるお店です。スパット言ってしまえばファーストフードレストラン？！ってことになるのかと思います。
• SAKURA:　このお店は２０１０年の８月にオープンしたお店です。まだ開店して間もないのですが日本料理だけでなく他の料理も作っていてそれぞれすごくおいしいです。辛いものから甘いものなどいろいろな料理があるので試してみるのはいいかもしれないです。
• TABEYA: ここは2011年１月にオープンしたばかりのお店です。Japan Inn と同じ様に"all you can eat"のあるお店です。食べ放題で時間の許す限り食べたい方は食べれます。食べ盛りのお子さんなどいれば行かれてみる事をお勧めします。味はおいしいと思います。
• WASABI 88: このお店は日本食店です。料理もそこそこおいしいと思うのですが値段の割にはと思ってしまう料理もありかもしれません。アメリカ人には人気のお店です。

今、グリーンビルにあるお店で自分が知っているのはこのくらいです。他にあれば教えてもらいたいですね。

本題からかなりズレてますが、一応紹介をしようと思って書き込みました。

おっと文章だけになっているので、ここで一枚写真を載せようと思います。

この写真はグリーンビルの病院の近くで取ったのもです。このようないい景色はいろいろな所にあります。

この写真はガソリンスタンドで取ったものです。SHEETZというガススタのお店なんですがいろいろなものを頼む事ができ、しかも！なんト！注文をするのはタッチパネルで画面を見ながら自分の好きな様にできるというアメリカではまれに見ないスタイルです。

SAKURA in Greenville, NC

I totally forgot to post about SAKURA TREE.

In Greenville, NC and around here, you can see a lot of SAKURA TREES. When I first came here, I was not expected to see these trees, and I was surprised. Also East Carolina University has a lot of SAKURA TREES around campus.

I took some pictures last week on Thursday, but I forgot to posted here yesterday or before that.

Well here is the picture of the tress.

This is one of big SAKURA TREE in front of Austin Building at ECU. I like to watch the Tree all the time during this time of year. Also, when weather is nice, I like to study under the tree.

Here is one more picture of it.

you can see this tree is big enough and tall near the building next to that. I guess you can tell that Japanese people are like to see this SAKURA every year when they are comes around.

Antique and good shopping...

I had a good day today. I went to an Antique store this morning, and I didn't expected what I bought was different price than they already gave it.

This above picture price was $10 for posted, but I got cheaper than that....

I guess that was lucky. :-)

Also, I bought only this one anyway. 8 Cups was set for one price. That was good deal.

This is my daily post from now on.

Oh I am not forgetting about posting Greenville information, but not much is going on here around right now.

If I hear anything about new stuff or things going on, I will promise to post here as soon as possible.

FIRE KING

FIRE KING is antique collectable items. It is really nice and you will like them after you use it. A great thing is old but still able to use and hard to break. However, I haven't buy this from Greenville, NC. I went to several different places or internet to found some people to gave or sold me.

It is hard to find all of them, but here is some of what I have right now.

This is what I like to collect. However, it is really hard to find them. I wish I can get it somewhere near here ;)

well, I think I can try to find some of them online... Well, it maybe more expensive than I just go to get them.

Now, I have little bit, but as long as I can here in Greenville, NC maybe I can find some more stuff sometime later or every month where I go.

グリーンビルのクリスマスシーズン

クリスマスシーズンにアメリカは突入しました。

やっとグリーンビルにも少しずつクリスマスらしくなり始めました。

家の周りにはそれぞれの家庭家庭で色々なデコレーションが着き始めました。

家の中はクリスマスツリーでデコレーションといった感じできれいなデコレーションをされていらっしゃる方が多いです。日本でも結構やってるので珍しくはないのですが、こちらの方は毎年毎年オーナメントが増えていきます。もし子供がいれば子供がいる記念という形で生まれ年から毎年子供のためだけの飾りを作っている方もいます。

もし日本で自分の親がそれをしてくれたらビックリな感じですが、こっちでは結構当たり前のことになってる方がいっぱいおられます。

やはり文化は違うのだということを思い知らされる部分があります。でも、アメリカの文化なのでそれはそれで大切な習慣で後世まで残っていってもらいたいと思います。私もそれにちなんでというか習って勝手ながら今年からアメリカにいる記念として飾りを買っていこうと決めました。

サンクスギビングが終わるとすぐにクリスマスのデコレーションが始まります。

でも、今年はいつもの年よりもまだ少ない感じになってます。

やはり、政府の思考で行われている景気回復もまだまだといった感じです。でも、去年も２００７年に比べるとデコレーションをやっていない家庭がめだっていた気がします。

でも、クリスマスはクリスマスでイベントと考える人とやらなとだめだと考えてる方に別れるようです。

さすがにやらないといった人はいないようでした。最低でも家の窓ガラスにはろうそくの明かりが毎晩のようについている所が多いです。温かい家のイメージがそこにある感じですごく嬉しくなります。

やっぱり、景気がまだ回復していない所為なのかはわからないのか全くわからないけどお店にいくとクリスマスショッピングの人たちであふれています。

みなさんやっぱりクリスマスは一番のイベントで一年で最後のイベントなので盛り上がってる感じです。

そういえば。。。

日本人の家庭でもそれぞれでデコレーションをしてる方がいます。やっぱりこっちに来ると楽しそうです。

You can unlock Galaxy S4 for using this method!

I have been posted on YouTube about this video, but just want to write about explain for all steps below.

Samsung Galaxy S4 unlocking SIM

A method for free SIM Unlock for Samsung Galaxy S4 is now available. The method has been worked on AT&T, T-Mobile, Canadian GSM, other world wide versions of Samsung Galaxy S4, but not yet to confirmed for Japanese version of Samsung Galaxy S4 yet. 
 Warning
 Neither I nor the xda developers are responsible if something happens to your device after trying this,  please try this at your own risk. The method has been reported to work on TouchWiz ROMs and/or  Samsung firmware only.

Here are the steps:

1. Goto phone dailer, and enter *#27663368378# for the debug service menu (if this does not work try *#0011#)
2. In “ServiceMode”, select [1] UMTS
3. In “UMTS MAIN MENU”, select [1] DEBUG SCREEN
4. In “DEBUG SCREEN”, select [6] PHONE CONTROL
5. In “PHONE CONTROL”, select [6] NETWORK LOCK
6. In “NETWORK LOCK”, select [3] PERSO SHA256 OFF
   It should show:
   SHA256_ENABLED_FLAG[1]
   SHA256_OFF => SHA256_ON
7. Now touch the first line SHA256_ENABLED_FLAG[1]
   It should show:
   MENU NOT EXIST
   PRESS BACK KEY
   Current Command is 116631
8. Now press the menu button and select “Back”
   It should show:
   SHA256_ENABLED_FLAG[0]
   SHA256_OFF => Not Change
9. Again, press the menu button and select “Back”, and you’re back in the “NETWORK LOCK” screen
10. Press the menu button and select “Back”, and you’re in the “PHONE CONTROL” screen
11. Press the menu button and select “Back”, and you’re in the “DEBUG SCREEN” screen
12. Finally, press the menu button and select “Back”, and you’re back in the “UMTS MAIN MENU” screen
13. Select [6] COMMON
14. In “COMMON” screen, select [6] NV REBUILD
    Now you are in the “NV REBUILD” screen, you should see the following text:
    ——————————
    Golden-Backup exist
    You can Restore Cal/NV
    ——————————
15. Now for the final step.
    In “NV REBUILD” screen, select [4] Restore Back-up
    The button lights for menu and back should come on, and the phone will auto reboot in a few seconds.

Let me know if you were able to sim unlock your Galaxy S4 using the above method, and I already unlocked from that one for Galaxy S4. However, this is only work for America and Worldwide sale ones.
