I usually go to a school on Friday and teach some middle school students at Chocowinity. It has been pleasure to teach and doing research them this past few months, and last Friday which yesterday was the last day to visit there.

Today, I wanted to post some Mugs of Fire King. I got some Mugs from several places, and it is not around here in Greenville, NC. However, it is nice to have all of them. (今日はファイヤーキングのマグについてのせようと思います。マグカップを数個手に入れました。でもここの近くでかってきたという事ではないのですが、やはり使いやすく日本人の方にはちょうどあった大きさのカップではないかと思います。)

These are just part of Fire King Mugs, and I have just like that much and won't be able to buy all anyway. But Fire King Mugs are total more than 300 different things.... so I think no way to get all anyway. I like most of Snoopy Mug. Because it has some kind of writing back of cup, and snoopy is cute character. I really enjoy having that mug. I think I will get one more Snoopy Mug if I possible to buy one.

Finally, I am getting better and good health condition. But still having some fever left over.... But it's just need to get some sleep.

Oh tomorrow, I will go back to school like one week from last time I am in school. I can not believe that much sick I got for past week. I haven't been like this sick before and first time ever I got this. I wish I were not sick during this time of year.

Oh well, I just need to study study for final exams coming soon!

Greenville, NC

Today is not much warm morning to start, but weather says supposed to high temperature rise up to 86F(30C) Degrees. It's cloudy outside and not really good weather.
(今日はあまり暖かい朝の始まりではなかったのですが、天気予報によると86°F(30℃)まで最高気温は上がるという事です。でも、外はどんよりとした雲に覆われたいい天気とはちょっとほど遠い感じです。)

I still have little bit fever from Wednesday last week, and I am not sure why I still have it. Also that is why I didn't write down anything on here since last time I update. I wish this fever go away from me as soon as possible since I have a lot of things going on tomorrow. I don't like being sick and going to school, and I have to a lot of things need to catch up this week anyway. Hopefully, I will be able to do all of them.
(私は先週の水曜日からの熱がまだ少し続いています。一旦良くなったのですが、また悪くなり寝込んでいた状態です。それでここに書き込みができない状態でした。最後に書き込みをいれた時に熱があると書いたのは覚えてるのですが。。。熱が下がって体調が一刻も早く万全になってもらいたいものです。なぜかというと今週はいろいろな事があるからです。明日は大事なプレゼンテーションがありますし、明後日から金曜日にかけては先週できなかった事をやらなければならないのです。すべてがうまく行く事を祈ってますぞ！)

Getting better...

I was sick yesterday, and it was really bad. Because I had fever around 102.8F (39.3C) degrees. I couldn't move much other than I took my roommate to school and pick him up. only that time my fever was gone because of medicine. (昨日は病気で寝込んでいました。しかも、かなり悪い状態でした。熱が102.8F(39.3C)度になる程のものでした。動く事ができず何もできなかったのは久しぶりでした。ただ状態がいい時にルームメイトを学校に送っていったくらいです。薬は助かりますね。)

Today, I didn't have anything to do today either since my sickness is still with me and I don't think I will do that anything until I get back well enough.

This morning was...

This morning, it was really really storming around Greenville, NC and had a  severe warning weather. (今朝のグリーンビルはものすごい嵐でした、そして何より警報が出ていたくらいものすごいものでした。)

However, around 11:30am weather was getting better, and looks like really nice after all. Also, outside temperature was not that bad. (しかしながら、１１時半すぎには天候は回復してきました。そしてよい天気になったんです。しかも、外の気温はそこまで寒くなかったのです。)

I was at university from this morning to around 1pm then came back to home right now, but I need to go back to take some classes this afternoon after 3:30pm. But it won't be not much going on. (今日は朝から午後１時くらいで学校にいて自宅に戻ってきました。しかしまた３時半からクラスの授業があるので大学に戻ります。といってもそこまで忙しいというわけではないのですが。。。)

I think I should leave soon and hope I will post again later tonight.

グリーンビル夏になってきた？！

Today was really warm day tomorrow, and I think it was really good day. Just little bit even hotter than I was expected. （今日はとてもあたたかな日になりました。そして、思っていた以上に暖かくなりましたがすごくいい人なりました。)

Also, it's not much going on today for me, I was enjoyed my day at home until I had meeting and tutoring... (今日はいろいろな事が夕方くらいからある日だったのでゆっくり過ごす事ができました。)

I watched Drama and reading some book for since I up this morning. It was really enjoyable day and I really like that kind of days! it's so nice and I really really like that way. (そしてドラマを見たり、本を読んだりといろいろな事ができた日でもあります。とても楽しい一日になりました。そしてこういう日が一番いいグリーンビルでも一時になっています。）

FIRE KING is really nice!!!!

Now, I am officially collecting FIRE KING, and will continue it. I am sure that is really cool to have some like old stuff, and that collection is really nice and fit on you. Most of people think that is not really good stuff, but it's just collection for who wants to collect them. I am one of that kind of person.
(今日は、ファイヤーキングコレクターになった事を宣言しようかと思います。アハハ勝手な私事ですが。。。そしてこれからも集められるものは集めていこうかと思います。ファイヤーキングはアメリカの古き良き時代を象徴できると言っていいのではないでしょうか。コレクションの中で最も人気のあるものです。アメリカ人の人々の中には「なぜ！？」ファイヤーキングなのかという事を思っている人もいるかもしれないのですが。。。コレクションは自分が好きで集めるものなので、別に自分が気に入っていればいいのでは？！)

I was using some measuring cups this year and it is related to the company after Fire King is gone. But Still they are making some of them now. The company name is "anchor". I am glad to have all that Measuring Cups. (今年になってから使っている計量カップはファイヤーキングという昔の会社から今のアンカーに変わってからも生産されてるものだという事です。今になってやっぱりもっていてよかったと思えるものでした)

April started...

It's already April, and I am really really surprised about time goes fast every year.
(もう既に４月になりました。そして、いつも時が早く過ぎ去っている事に驚きを感じます。)

I wish I were something I can do important for my life soon! (何か自分の人生において重要な事をやり遂げられないかと思う日々があります。)

Well, now I am studying in some stuff at Graduate School, and I am tutoring everyday, but still something I am missing....(今は大学院で勉強をしていて、家庭教師もしています。しかし、何かが足りないような気がするのです。)

I shouldn't think about that, because if I think that, I am going to spend a lot more time than what I need to do.... lol
(今それを考えない様にしないといけないんです。なぜかって？！もしそれを考え出したらきりがなく、自分がやらなくてはならない事以上に時間を費やしてしまいそうだからです。)

By the way, I was away from Greenville yesterday, and went to several different places...
(ところで、昨日はグリーンビルから少し離れていろいろな所に行ってきました。)

New Item!

I got new item yesterday. I found that on website, and it is not sale anymore. I was surprised that came to here after 2 days of my order. That is "Fire King Alice Vitrock/Blue Trim Cup and Saucer".

That design is so nice and I really like it. Also, it looks like not glassware, but it is glassware cup and saucer. I am really really surprised that feel like not glassware, but it is. Design is so nice and cute for people who like to have it. (このデザインはすごくいいもので、自分はものすごく好きになりました。それから陶磁器の様に見えますが、実はガラス細工のものなんです。手触りもガラス細工とは思えないのですがちゃんと見ればガラスなんです。この肌触りの見た目と可愛さなどが人気の一つなのかもしれないですね。)

Thursday is good day of the week....

Today is actually better weather, and I like this way. (今日は天候もより、いい日になりました。）

I wasn't sure what to write before I started, but now I have a topic to talk. (私は何を書こうかと書く前までは悩んでいましたが、書き始めたら１つの話題について書こうと思いました。)

That topic is tomorrow's middle school students presentation. We will have presentation about middle school student reading books. I read most of them, and I am really enjoy hearing about the books from them. Also this is good opportunity for them to explain what their thoughts, and what the books are.
(その話題とは明日の事です。中学生が彼らの読んでいる本の内容についてのプレゼンテーションを行う事です。自分も一緒になってほとんどの本を読み、彼らの意見や考えについて毎日の様にきいていました。このプレゼンテーションによって彼らがより充実したものを得られるのではないかと思っています。)

Today was last day for making presentation and website for themselves, and I was helping them for technical parts. It was really great working with them, and I learned that how they need to teach or support from us like teachers and assistants.
(今日はプレゼンテーションの前日で最後の編集をできる日でした。私はテクニカルサポートをしに彼らの教室に行って仕事をしてきました。彼らと一緒にやるこのプロジェクトはとにかく充実したものとなりました。私は彼らからどのようにして教えたらいいのかという事を学びました。)

I am excited about tomorrow's presentation and hopefully it will go well!

Today and yesterday...

Today and yesterday, I went to one of middle school not in Greenville, but next town call Chocowinity.

I really like to go there and doing some work with Middle School students. I made website for their presentation. I will put here sometime later that website.

Oh now I should talk about my new stuff. I bought iPad 2 on March 11th, 2011. It was so much fun to get that. I had iPad, and I really like iPad but I like the new iPad 2 as well. Also it is much better to use so far. I think it is easy to use anyway.

I am trying to show some place around Greenville tomorrow post, but not sure where should I post yet. But this week or next week, I will put some pictures of university where I go school. I think this will make people to know what looks like and how that school works for international students. Also, American students and professors are very nice to us. I am sure people will like here.

this is my dog HANA-Chan. 

Hana is my dog since 2006. I am so happy to have her as my pet and seems like she is one of my favorite pet ever I had. She always sleep with me, and she tried to wake me up several time when I don't wake up around 7am.... lol

Well hope she will have a happy life with me! I am so happy spent time with her. :)

今日は少し時間があったので。。。

Today, I had little bit time, so I went to Antique Stores. I usually not have enough time to go somewhere from Greenville during week days. (今日は少し時間があったので、アンティークのお店にいってきました。月曜日から金曜日まではいつも忙しいので行く事がないのですが。。。）


There was little bit of stuff I can see since time was limited, but I saw some stuff. Also, I bought some of Fire-King dishes. (そこのお店にはそこまでいろいろなものはないのですが(時間もなかったのですが)、少しだけ見つける事ができました。そして何個かのファイヤーキングを買う事ができました。）

I bought it cheaper price since whoever sold me that time gave me discount around 50% to 60%.... lol

Weather is getting colder again....

Weather is coming back or going back to colder again in Greenville, NC... 

I wasn't expected this colder weather again after all week was hot and warm around here... 

here is on picture I took.

you can see this picture about cloudy and it is really not much to get warmer today. 

I wish weekend is warmer so I can take a walk with my dogs around my apartment. However, sometime weekend is like this.

Well hopefully, next week and weekend is not that bad. I saw the weather channel, and they predict we have rain and storm next few days. Also temperature is lower than last week.

I guess this is Spring around here. :-0

今日は少し。。。

今日は少し肌寒い日になっているグリーンビルです。

久しぶりに天候が悪く小雨が降ったりしていました。

家の外を取った様子ですが少し見た目もどんよりとした写真になっています。
こんな事もたまにはあると思うのですが。。。

でも、久しぶりにゆっくりとした一日を過ごしています。週末とはいえ忙しいときは忙しいのが学生です。特に大学院になればメールのチェックやミーティン後などもありますし、会社に勤めているかたは仕事をしなければならない方もいるのではと思います。

ほんの気ままなBlogに付き合っていただて（読んでいるかた）ありがとうございます！

来週はグリーンビルでいくつかイベントがあると思うのでそれをのせる事にします。

２０１１年３月２４日

すでに今日で４日目なんですが。。。今日は特に何も書く事がないので。。。どうしようかと思いましたが一応書いてみました。

何も書く事がない日もあっていいと思うのですが。。。というのも写真を撮っていないというのもあり寂しいブログになるのではという事で書くかどうか迷って書く事にしました。

そういえばあと２日でお気に入りのドラマが終わってしまいます。といっても日本のドラマなんですが。。。

そのドラマは連続テレビ小説の「てっぱん」です。

日本では４月２日までの放送と決まっているみたいですが。。。インターネットでは１４９話まで放送されているのであと２話で終わりなんです。

いつも見ているというわけではないのですが今回は「ちゅらさん」以来久しぶりに見ています。

グリーンビルでも日本のテレビは見る事ができます。自分はインターネットを通して見ていますが、他の方はテレビを通して見ている方が多いと思います。

桜の季節はもう終わり！？

今日は少しゆっくりできる時間があったのでグリーンビルにある公園に行ってきました。そこで桜を見たのですが既に花が半分くらい散っていました。大学のキャンパス内はすでにほとんどが散っているのでビックリしました。

これを見ればわかると思いますが、桜は既に散り始めて緑の葉っぱが見えています。もう少しくらい長い間桜を見ていられればいいなと思ったくらいです。

ところで、グリーンビルの公園の紹介をしようと思います。

ここではボートなどをもっている人が川岸にいってボートでクルージングを楽しみ事ができます。

この写真からわかる様に結構広い敷地が公園として町の人が楽しめる様になっています。駐車場もありますから、誰でもここに来て自分なりの時間を過ごす事ができます。写真の奥に見える建物があると思いますがこれについては後ほど。。。

これは公園から見えるグリーンビルのダウンタウンです。少ししか見えませんが公園から道路を一本挟んで向かい側が中心部になっています。

旗の写真ですがこれは戦争で亡くなった方や今までの歴史の上でなくなった方に敬服の意を示すものだという事です。自分も今日行って初めて知ったくらいです。アメリカの国旗、州の州旗など６つもの旗がありました。

この２枚の写真は時間をいつでも見る事ができる様にと作られたものをおさめたものです。もし時計や携帯など時刻を表示するものをもっていなくてもここに行って時間を確認する事ができます。これは自分の陰を使った陰時計です。もし公園に行く機会があれば試しにやってみると面白いかもしれません。

この写真は２枚目の写真で述べた奥の建物です。この建物はステージになっていてイベントなどがある時に使われたりします。特にインターナショナル祭りなどの際はいろいろな国の方がここでダンスやその国の文化の紹介などをやっています。４月の中旬くらいなのでもし機会があれば見に行ってみてください！
