Outside of My House

Today, it is not too bad outside weather now, but still cloudy and not that good either. But it is not raining right now and will be getting better weather tonight and tomorrow. Well, this week is almost all the time weather will be partly cloudy but will be higher temperatures during day-time. I am sure this week I can feel for Fall and will be better stay that way for next few weeks I hope! I took several outside picture for today, and I am sure I am going to go out with dogs since I have free time for now. I just finish tutoring today. I am sure I have free time and spend time for cooking and other things. haha. I will watch a drama which is this week start one and I am trying to watch last week started a drama which is Keiji no Manazashi. I will try to post like before soon.

今日はそこまで悪い天気ではありませんが、ほぼ一日中曇りのようです。昨日もそうでしたが時たま晴れ間が出てくるような感じです。雨も降っていませんから悪い天気ではないです。今夜から明日にかけてもっと良くなっていくようです。といってもほぼこの1週間は曇り時々晴れって感じの天気のようですが、最高気温は高い予想となっています。ということは今週は秋だなぁって感じられる一週間になりそうです。このままこの位の感覚の天気が続いてくれるほうがいいと思います。まだ冬には早すぎます。家の周りの風景を数枚写真に撮りました。そしてたぶん犬の散歩にも後で行くと思います。今日は思ったよりも時間が出来たので、ゆっくりと過ごせそうです。それに今日始まったドラマや先週からのドラマの続きでも見てみようかと思っています。また後ほどドラマの感想なども載せようと思っています。

T-モバイルが新しい国際プランをアメリカで発表！これは全世界へも影響があるかも。(T-Mobile introduce new international plan for USA, this mayinfulence other countries in the future!)

Free Texting and Data for Global use!

昨日、T-モバイルから新たな新国際プランが発表されました。これはアメリカ国内向けのプランです。そのプランというのが、アメリカ国外に行った際も追加料金を取らずにデータ通信やテキストの送信が出来るということです。これはT-モバイルが独自に出しているシンプル選択プランというプランに入っているというのが最低条件です。そして、これは新規契約者のシンプル選択プランの適用は10月20日からで、従来契約者には10月31日からの適用になるようです。これは結構多くの方に喜ばれるプランではないでしょうか?アメリカから外国へ旅行に行くとなるとこれは結構便利なものです。追加料金が取られないということは結構顧客にとっては頼もしい見方になるのではないかと思います。ただ1つだけちょっと何点かもしれないと思われることはデータスピードが2G速度だということで。。。速い速度で快適に過ごしたいなどと考える人にはちゃんとそれなりのプランが用意されています。1日100MBまでの使用で$15、7日間の200MBで$25、そして14日間で500MBまでで$50となっているようです。
(Yesterday, T-Mobile just announced that no extra charge for data, texting for outside US, and that means free data and texting global for Simple Choice Plan. This will begin on October 20th, 2013 for new customers, and on October 31st, 2013 for existing customers. This means a lot to many people who like to travel outside of USA, and maybe this will be make international companies to have T-Mobile phones. In addition to that data speed will be 2G speed which is slow speed, but if that is not extra cost for data using outside the USA shouldn't matter whoever want to use. If you like to use faster internet speed, you may have choice for spending extra cost like one day 100MB for ($15), 7 days for 200MB ($25), and 14 days for 500MB ($50).)

さらにT-モバイルの発表はまだそれだけで終わりではなかったようです。さらにアメリカ国内向けのプランとして国際向けの電話とテキストについても国際電話と国際テキストに対してのプランとして10㌦追加で払って国際向けのテキストは無料になります。さらに70カ国以上の国に対しては国内から国外への電話を無料になるとのことでした(ただし固定電話のみ)。固定電話や国によっては国際電話料金として1分毎に20セントでかけられるようになったようです。この対象になるプランには、シンプル選択プランに入っていることが条件です。これも良いプラントなって他の会社にもある程度影響を与えるのではないかと思います。
(Also, T-Mobile was announced with that global free data and texting for outside US users, in addition to that United States inside base user who like to call outside US will have better plan for their calling and texting.  For texting plan part is free for many countries, and calling part is no more than 20 cents/minute for most of countries and who has Simple Choice Plan and more than 70 countries are included for this plan and agree for that. This will be a good plan to carry on it, if you call outside US a lot from your cellphone.)

(Well, T-Mobile is still developing LTE connection, but this plan will be better and make changes a lot for a lot of customers. Also, this will be a better plan for people to decide and thinking about it in the future when you try to get another phone or new contract.)

Well, Talking in English!

Speaking in English

This is a nice day of staying in home and/or staying in house at night. I was outside a lot of time today, and trying to do some work done. After all of this work, I thought that time to tutor for students. Well, this is not too hard to teach them a lot of basic and more deep into materials. However, after I taught them today's session, I went shopping with them. That time, I am talking to them in Japanese, which is my mother language and their as well. But my roommate's primary language is speaking in English. So after all, I started to think that how we can change our communication style from Japanese to in English. Well, students are smart and they know a lot of word for English, but still weak to speak in English sometime (not a lot anymore). They learned in English from me, my roommate and School teachers during staying in America. That will be a great experience for them. I am sure that is not what they wanted to do for their life right now, but study is their primary thing right. Anyway, so I talked to them in English a lot more than I usually do, and try to make them speak with my roommate who is native American. He teaches them twice a week, so they are not shy to him anymore. So I found that first thing to be able to talk in English is get out of your shyness. That is the most easiest thing to do, but it is hardest thing to do when you try to speak in English. Easy is just speak, but hard is shyness goes over you. But if you are comfortable to talk with a person, and the person won't say to you mistake until you are getting better. This will help you to learn and get out of shyness easily. so what I want to say for Talking in English is just go to talk to someone who you know and maybe she/he will listen you careful and try to make you comfortable. That will be best starting point for you to speak in English.

英語で話そう！

(今日は家でじっとしているには最適な良い日もしくは良い夜だと思います。実際、天気が良かったので外にいて家の周りの事を色々とやっていました。そして結構片付けなどを終えることも出来ました。それらが終わってから、時間を見ると家庭教師に行く時間になっていました。生徒に教えることはそれほど難しいものではないですが、基本的なことからちょっとした応用まで色々とあります。しかしながら、今日のレッスンが終わってから彼らと買い物に行きました。そこではやはり日本語を話すのが中心！というのも、日本語が母国語の自分と彼らなのでさすがにいろいろと話しをするときはやはり日本語の方が楽なのです。だけれども、自分のルームメイトはアメリカ人で英語が母国語です。彼と話しをするときはやはり英語になります。なので、どうやれば日本語中心から英語中心に変えることが出来るのかと考えてしました。私が教えている子供たちはとても頭がよく彼らなりに一生懸命に英語を理解し、話しをしますが、やはり話すとなると弱い部分がまだまだ出てきます。気が知れている人や自分の知っている人に対しては結構話が出来るようです。。。でも、知らない人になると結局話すことが苦手という感じです。でも、気が知れている人にだけでも話しをうまくできるということはとても良いことなんです。英語を話すことで一番重要なのは恥ずかしさをなくして話をするということです。これが一番簡単で一番難しいことなんです。「それはできないことはない 」と思う方がいっぱいいると思います。でも、本当に最初は難しいことなんです。恥ずかしさがない幼少期などは全然問題なく出来ることなんですが、思春期に近い年齢だと間違えたらどうしようと思うあまり言えない、話せないなどいろいろと聞きます。その中で、自分がこの人たちとなら話せるし大丈夫だと思える友達や仲間を作ることは英語を話すという第一歩になります。英語を知っていても話すのが苦手という方はアメリカ人でも他の外国人でも構いません、英語を話して話しを聞いてくれる人さえ見つけることが出来れば英語を話すという切っ掛けが出来ます。自分が恥ずかしくないと思えるようになるまでは時間がかかるかもしれないですがやはりできることからやっていくことで英語を話せるようになる。スタートは自分で作るのが一番です。）

I WAS SLEEPING

On Saturday, I had hard time for staying up, and I was sleeping for more than 2/3 of the day. I am not sure why it is, but I guess I was way too tired to stay up... some reason.
(今日は土曜日でゆっくりすごせる日でしたが、なぜか起きていることができずに3分の2くらいは眠ってすごしてしまいました。起きていなくてはと思い、頑張ったのですがまったくおきていられませんでした。どうしてなのかはわかりませんが。)

Actually this morning, my blog pageviews are over 10,000, and it is good to see that my blog was over 10,000 viewed already. However, that statistic number is after I start posting this year everyday and start writing about Fire King. I am happy to see that my blog was viewed that many times already.
(実は今日の朝、このブログが1万回の閲覧を突破しました。1万回という数字にすごく驚きましたが、同時にすごくうれしくなりました。たくさんの方に見ていただいているみたいで本当に感謝しました。まぁ、ただの自己満足のブログなので。。。誤字脱字はかなりあると思います。それに間違っている文法もちらほらあると思うのですが。。。しかし、この数字になるのは今年になって毎日書き始めてからの閲覧が増えたことになります。しかも、ファイヤーキングを載せ始めてからではないかと思っています。どちらにしろこれからも頑張っていろいろな情報を載せていける様にしていくつもりです。)

Well, my goal of writing blog is the getting people know about this town: Greenville, NC USA, but another goal is writing about Fire-King information as much as I can and another one is not only the information but also post that how I use the Fire-King for my small life and enjoying that. Today is the Thanksgiving day in USA, and almost all stores and places are off for day. I am sure that is same for other places where they have holidays!

July 4th

July 4th is the America's independent day. I miss seeing event there almost all the time. Because I came back to my home during summer most of time. But I am sure my friends are having a great time this day! Maybe next year, I may be there and spend time with my friends, but may not. Because I might need to apply for Japanese company for a job.... Well, it's depend on when I am going to finish my school work.

I am so happy with my pets!

Today, I was playing with my pets little bit and made me happy after that. I haven't play or do something with them a long time, and I have time little bit more Free time now.

They are so cute and My favorite pets ever I had. Also, when I have hard time at school that time, they came to me and felt better after all. I am surely happy to have them all the time.
Hana was the first pet I had in Greenville, NC, and she lives with me already 6 years and I am so happy to have her. I can not image she is not with me anymore.
Kuki is second dog for me. He gives me hard time sometime, but he is cute doggie, and makes company with Hana.
Shiro is the hamster, and he is the newest pet I have now.
(彼らは自分にとってお気に入りのペットたちです。それに学校などできつかったりした時に近くに来てくれていやしてくれます。その度にペットを飼っていてよかったと思います。
華ちゃんはグリーンビルに来て初めて飼ったペットです。彼女とは既に６年一緒にここにすんいます。そして華ちゃんがいてとても良かったといつも思っています。華がいない生活はちょっと考えづらくなっています。クウキは２番目の犬のペットです。彼は少しやんちゃで困らせる時もありますが、華ちゃんの遊び相手になってくれたりしているので助かります。城はハムスターです。彼はこの頃買い始めました。新しいここの仲間です。)

By the way, I finally get a mug what I really wanted to buy a long time which is Fire King McDonald Mug Cup. I looked everywhere around Greenville, NC and some places but I haven't had chance to find one yet until last Saturday. I was so happy to see and hold it! I bought it after all. Now I have several different mugs for Fire King.

既に金曜日。

It's already Friday this week. It went so fast, and I couldn't know until I recognized that today is already Friday.... I lost tracking myself as date. I was trying to think what I did all week, but still not really remember that my days are went away so fast!
(今週は既に金曜日になっています。ものすごく時間が過ぎるのが早く感じてしまってビックリです。さらに今日が何曜日かというのがわからなくなったりしていました。今週は何をしたんだろうかと考えていましたが、少しわからなくなってしまったくらいです。結構ビックリしてしまいました。)

But I had a great week, that's what I am thinking about it. Because it went so fast and I have been busy all week, that is good for me. Also, I need to have a lot of thinking time for myself still. I am glad that my summer start as good as I can have. I wish next week and coming June will be like this.

I am so lucky person.
I have several great friends around me.
I can meet several friends in Japan and in Greenville, NC all the time.
I can talk to a lot of people I want to keep in touch with.

Well, if you want to come to Greenville, NC, here is the best place to have friends and make friends. Also, you don't have much to do around here, but you can go anywhere you want within one hour or less. Also, it is great place to study, vacation, and having fun weekend. I will miss here when I go back to Japan. I wish I don't have to go back but I need to get VISA this time. So I have to go back.

Oh well today is very nice day so I am going to walk my dogs, they keep me happy!

Today, I started working again with my great professor! I am so happy to work there again, and I am really happy to work there now.

I just waited that what I can do to Research Assistant for her. it's so much fun for me.

Then I went to tutoring after 3pm. Also, this helps me for my time in here much fun and better!

I came home then I made some dinner around 9pm. ahaha

今日はntt docomo の新機種の発表会でした。日本はもう月曜日の午後です。こちらはまだ月曜日になったばかり。少し眠いのをこらえて見ていたました。アハハ

Well here is what I am going to write more. I thin that is not really interesting to watch for presentation about cellphones.... I don't think it is nice to know...

It was really disappointed to see all, and I wish I were there. I thought Japan has better cellphone making and better quality for cellphone, but I think other countries are better now.

Today, I didn't go to sleep until around 5am in the morning, and I woke up around 12pm. That's so different from what I was doing all past semester. I can not believe that I slept that long... lol

Now, I am making some dinner for me and my roommate who is really nice to me. I just wish to put picture today later.

今日は日本語で書こうと思います。
このブログを初めて６年になるんですが(２００５年５月１日から始めたんです)、なんとグリーンビルに来る前からやっています。

前書いているのはとてもグリーンビルに関係ある内容ではありません。

ところで、あと２日でECUの学期末テストも終わりになります。すでに終わってる学生もいますが、まだ終わってない人もまだまだいます。

今回はECUについて少し紹介をしようと思います。
East Carolina University (ECU)は環境面では都会の中にある学校ですがノースカロライナ州の中では都会の中の田舎という所にあります。グリーンビルは都会ではあるのですがまだまだ他の年に比べると田舎であると行ってもいい所があります。高層ビルがあるわけではありませんし、学生の街になっている部分もあります。

学生数：	約26300人			入学者のGPA平均：		3.45
学費：	約23000ドル			必要なTOEFL点数：		80点
寮費・食費：	約9000ドル

ここに留学をしようと考えている生徒はどのような授業を取りたいか、どのような学部に入りたいかで決めるのが一番ではないかと思います。

Well now, I am going to talk about Greenville and ECU from my view in English. I am a graduate student at ECU and majoring MS in Software Engineering. I think we have various major at undergraduate and graduate School education. One of strong field of study is Education, also field of Medicine and Nursing. Undergraduate majors are Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and so on where it is related to Medicine is stronger area at ECU. But still they have good program for all over majors. Also, a lot of people are working at ECU and who live in Greenville, people are working at ECU most of time. I am sure ECU is big part of Greenville society and students who is around here knows what's going on.

For my view that graduate school students has a lot of opportunity to work as Graduate Assistant, Graduate Teaching Assistant, and/or Graduate Research Assistant. International students are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week, and that give us to take 6 hours credits for Graduate Courses which is better then taking 9 credit hours for semester.

In this university, professors are working with you and making sure that we are able to learn and success for what we are learning from them. Also, they are always help us and welcome to ask the questions we have about classes, research topics, and/or our problems. It is nice to have someone like them being alone here. Also, American students who are my friends, and working together sometime. They are a great help for any of us. I am sure that people have feeling like that anytime. Also, I am sure that is the most important university life in America.

In Greenville, Around here American people are really nice and friendly for me and other people. Also, most of international students who talked to me that they thought American people were really great and sweet for us.

It is nice and good. Just one think you may concern that food and eating diet. If you want to eat something good stuff, maybe you can have some good food from cafeteria at university. However, that is not really for some of people, but people can go out to eat sometime and get good Japanese food, Italian, Indian food, Thai, Korean, and Chinese foods around here in Greenville.

Oh well, it is not much to say after all, but you can read this explain a lot more about Greenville's students' life. On weekend...

It is a very nice day!

I couldn't sleep last night, and I went to bed around 12:30pm on Sunday, and I am still sleepy... but I had a meeting with SENG 6230 classmates.

Well that is ok.

I thought this morning today is a very nice and fine outside day! Wish I could go out and do something, but I don't have much to do. Since I wasn't sleep last night, my body told me to not go outside before I sleep at least a few hours.

Now, I am awake, and I took some pictures from outside and inside.

Inside is just my dogs. I really love them, and enjoying to have them here with me. Their names are Hana and Kuki. Both of them are Pembroke and they are so sweet doggies!

  These four pictures makes me really happy and I love them so much. I am so glad to have them as my dogs since 2006 and 2007. I can not believe that I won't have them in my life right now, and this is the one where I can see my American life makes better everyday.

I had a good weekend, but I had little bit sad weekend too. Because some of my friend at ECU, they will be gone after this semester.

Three of them will be gone because they are graduating, and that is a good thing for them. Congratulations!!!

I am so happy to see them today and this weekend. But that makes me little bit sad.

Also, one of my friend is leaving after this semester because she was exchange student at ECU. I am glad that she had a great semesters and had a great year long stay in the USA and Greenville, NC.

Well hope next year, we will have a great year and having great people again like we did this year.

Today, I found my friend comment and message about ECU. That is a great thing to read from who were at ECU and left from here. Also, that helps people to understand what kind of things, and what would be a great things at ECU. However, that message was not only good things, but need to have all over things. Good things are good for people to know, but they need to know all things.

I like that ECU is good place to study. In fact that we have a lot of things are going on, and people should know all that. Well, if people knows all of stuff maybe not really be ok. But just looking at good things are not helping all the time. sometime you know and understand of bad things that helps for preparing to coming here too. I learned a lot of things during staying here in Greenville, NC, and I am thinking that it is not much different from Japan. When you are getting used to living here, that would make you to think same as where you lived.

I am sure only few months to one year would not hurt to come here and spend time, but if you live more than 3 or 4 years, you will know the differences between Japan and USA, but also you know similar things too!

I really think that is a good thing to living another country for long time and know people around where you live. Also that helps your life to expand your thought anyway.
